I know this isn’t exactly a new product, but I’ve had it for a while now and thought I’d give you a quick lowdown.
I have two shades – “07 1 second to mars” and “03 galaxy rocks”.
The tube says: “creamy eyeshadow for an incredible metallic and vibrant finish” and that it definitely is!
07 is a pinky, rose gold type colour (depending on lighting etc.) 03 is a taupe silvery colour. I love both!
Both these shades have a beautiful intensely bright and shimmer (not glitter!) effect. It brightens your eyes dramatically. I apply it on the inner half of my lid as oppose to the whole lid (don’t want to look completely disco ball like now). It dries quickly, so once you apply it don’t fiddle around too much. Blend it and leave it. And it has staying power, which is always great! I use one of these in conjunction with my regular eyeshadow, just to add effect and not as a single shadow on its own. I don’t have a problem with the applicator in the lid, but some people might prefer their own brush for better control.
It seems these products might fall under those that Essence discontinue on their twice annual line makeover, so keep a lookout when you’re in store!
