Multipurpose products

I own a lot of cosmetics. And when I say a lot, I mean a lot. Whatever your problem, I will most probably have a product for it.

But one of my favourite products is actually a multipurpose product – the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse oil.

It’s a multi-purpose oil for the face, body and hair.  It contains only plant based oils and is truly a natural product. It has a dry touch texture which I love, as I can’t stand oily residue on my skin! So it leaves skin soft and silky and can be used all year round! It contains the following oils:

  • Tsubaki
  • Camellia
  • Argan
  • Almond
  • Borage
  • Hazelnut
  • Macadamia

Each of these on its own have amazing beneficial properties and together it forms an oil like no other. It protects your skin against free radicals, reduces the appearance of stretchmarks and repairs hair! But the best part of this oil is the smell. It smells SO incredible. Like white chocolate and tropical island escapes. An iconic scent with notes of orange blossom, magnolia and vanilla. It’s simply intoxicating. It lingers for the whole day, making people turn their heads as you pass.

I like to apply it like a body lotion (a light application is enough for me). I also apply it to the ends of my hair. The site suggests using it as a hair mask before washing hair – I’ll definitely give that a try!

There is also a Riche (more intensive) version available for those with very dry skin and a shimmer version which is fabulous for summer. The new Florale version contains the same seven oils, but has a delicate floral scent with notes of grapefruit zest, magnolia and musk.

Huile Prodigieuse is available at Woolworths (50/100ml – R330/R495).
